Slasor Heating & Cooling, Inc. is a mechanical contracting company that was started in 1935. Jim Powell (President) and Craig Jones (Vice President) took over the business in 1987. In addition to Residential heating and cooling installation and repair service, our company installs and services Commercial H.V.A.C. equipment, custom fabrication and installation of sheet metal duct work, boilers, water heaters, indoor air quality accessories (media and electronic air cleaners, humidifiers, ultra violet lights), zoning systems and controls, ventilation, whole house automatic standby generators, process piping, clean rooms, etc. A few additional facts about our company include:

- We employ "Nate" certified Installation and Service Technicians.

Slasor Heating & Cooling, Inc. received the "Residential Contractor of The Year" award from the Michigan Chapter of Air Conditioning Contractors of America in 2002. This award recognizes significant achievement and success in the HVAC business and commitment to high ethical standards, solid business practices and betterment of the industry.

Craig Jones is the President of the Southeast Michigan Chapter of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America. This association promotes our industry through training programs for Contractor members and their employees, provides community support through our "Senior Day" program where we perform furnace safety inspections, repairs, and replacement furnaces free to needy senior citizens in our community each December.
